Reuse a template
A template file contains your layout, fields and logo. It does not contain your completed report entries.
How to use this file: it downloads as .json. Keep it on your device, then return to Daily Log and choose Load saved template. Opening it directly shows data text; it is not a PDF or Excel report.
Back up an editable report
A report backup includes your layout and all completed entries, so you can continue later or move to another device.
How to restore: keep the .json file, open Daily Log and choose Restore report backup. You will be asked before it replaces the report on screen. This file is for continuing your work, not for reading or printing.
Keep backup files private. Anyone with a report backup can read the information in it.
