CLAUTOOLS FUEL LOG - TERMS AND CANCELLATION POLICY Version: 2 October 2026 (2026-10-02-fuel) 1. Who provides the service Valerica-Claudiu Dau, trading as ClauTools. Fuel Log and vehicle slots Fuel Log includes fill-up records, receipt text scanning with manual review, fuel cost and consumption calculations, calendar filters, CSV export and browser printing / Save PDF. All features are included with three free active vehicles per organisation. Fuel Log is separate from Daily Log. An active vehicle uses one slot. Archived vehicles retain their history and do not use active slots. Archiving does not cancel a paid slot or reduce its charge. Restore a vehicle only when you have an available slot. Paid slots can be reused for other vehicles. Records are saved to your account for the selected organisation. Receipt photos are processed on your device and are not stored. Keep exports as backups. Check every scanned value and calculation before relying on it. Fuel consumption requires complete full-tank intervals and accurate mileage and fill-ups. The tool is not tax or accounting advice. You need an email account, internet connection and a current browser with JavaScript enabled. 3. Price and renewal Additional active vehicle slots cost GBP 0.99 each per month, paid together in one monthly subscription. Three slots remain free. For example, two paid slots cost GBP 1.98 per month and allow five active vehicles. These are total prices. ClauTools is not VAT registered and does not add VAT to this subscription. Your chosen number of paid slots and total monthly price are shown before payment. Your subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Extra access starts after successful payment and confirmation. Use Manage paid slots to change the number of paid slots, update payment details or cancel renewal. Increases may generate an immediate prorated charge, displayed by Stripe before confirmation. Reductions take effect at the end of the current paid period. To remove all paid slots, cancel the subscription. If you have more active vehicles than your allowance after a reduction, cancellation or failed payment, archive vehicles or restore paid access before saving further fill-ups. Your saved history remains available to view and export. Fuel Log vehicles are included while an eligible All Access subscription is active. Existing Fuel Log paid-slot subscriptions are not cancelled automatically when other access becomes available. Contact billing@clautools.com for help avoiding duplicate subscriptions. By requesting immediate access, you ask us to start the service straight away. The first-subscription 14-day refund offer below still applies. Changes to vehicle quantity do not restart that window. 4. Cancelling future renewals Use Manage paid slots to cancel renewal before your next renewal date. You can also contact us by email or in-app support. After ordinary renewal cancellation, access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancellation does not by itself request a refund. 5. First-subscription 14-day refund For your first paid Fuel Log subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days after the day the subscription starts, without giving a reason. You can use the service during that time. This offer does not restart on renewals, plan changes or repeat sign-ups. Send an unambiguous cancellation and refund request to billing@clautools.com or through in-app support. Include the email used for your account and, if available, your payment reference. Sending the request before the deadline is sufficient. The optional form below can also be sent by post to our address above. We will refund eligible payments without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your request, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise, without a refund fee. Bank processing time may affect when the credit appears. The refunded subscription is cancelled immediately when the refund is processed and paid access ends. Files already saved on your device remain yours to use. After this offer expires, ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally refund the current paid period. This does not limit any statutory cancellation, refund or other rights you have, including rights when the service is faulty or not as described. Using the service and resolving problems Use your account lawfully, keep sign-in codes private, and enter only information you are entitled to use. Do not use the tool to create fraudulent invoices or attempt unauthorised access. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect users, without removing applicable refund rights. We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance and technical problems may interrupt availability. Contact us if you cannot use a feature you have paid for. Your legal remedies remain available; these terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Changes and contact The terms supplied when you subscribe apply to that subscription. Material changes affecting future paid periods, including prices, will be notified before they take effect so that you can cancel future renewal. Nothing in these terms prevents you from using the consumer protections or courts available where you live in the UK.
